Manager, Marketing Of WFM Owned & Influencer Channels
As Manager, Marketing of WFM Owned & Influencer Channels, you are a seasoned marketing leader who has deep roots in social platforms, content & engagement strategies, content planning and execution, influencer marketing, organic social and measuring the effectiveness of social media and influencer initiatives within the broader marketing communications strategy.
You are passionate about social and influencer marketing not just as channels, but as catalysts to creating integrated campaigns that reach and engage, build brand love and ultimately drive our brand and business forward.
In this role, you will hire and galvanize your team of direct reports to best leverage each platform independently and collectively in order to maximize customers' ROA (return on attention).
Key job responsibilities include :
Reporting into Director of Brand & Sustainability, in this role you are leading the development and implementation of social and influencer strategies and managing a team of 6 direct reports.
You are responsible for ensuring strategic and creative excellence in WFM brand and social media channels (including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and other emerging platforms), managing how brand ambassadors and influencers tell the Whole Foods Market story in their channels, and using data to optimize performance.
Basic qualifications :
6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or equivalent
4+ years of managing teams experience
Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
6+ years of relevant brand or agency experience in social media and / or influencer analytics.
Experience managing a brand's social media channels, including writing briefs, planning and publishing content, creating content, engaging with followers and posting content in real-time.
Known to be an effective collaborator who works closely with cross-functionally with stakeholders across to coordinate, align and most efficiently and effectively market relevant programs across social channels.
Has solid understanding of social media and influencer listening and analytics and can comprehend and analyze data to provide insightful takeaways.
Resourceful, with proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate obstacles.
Pays extreme attention to detail and able to deliver high-quality work on time.
Can display an understanding of the Whole Foods Market mission, brand, values, products and customers.
Knowledge of the current food landscape, trends and pop culture.
Preferred qualifications :
It is critical for this leader to be experienced in people leadership.
This person should also be an excellent communicator and have strong writing skills. They will manage a budget, author strategies and create long-form program reviews to evaluate and optimize performance.
