Job Title : Geostructural Engineer

Location : Chesapeake, Virginia (in-office + field work)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Base Pay : $27.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour (approximately $56k to $62k annually) - Profit sharing available for all employees (paid out twice per year)

About the Role :

We are seeking a Geostructural Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and review of geotechnical and structural components for construction and repair projects. This role involves engineering analysis, technical reporting, and collaboration with senior engineers, CAD technicians, and clients. Projects include residential, commercial, and industrial properties, excavation support systems, foundation systems, and ground improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and assist with CAD drawings for geotechnical design work (foundations, piers, beams, posts, etc.).
• Review data, drawings, and calculations; prepare technical letters and reports.
• Occasionally observe field explorations and construction activities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, CAD staff, and clients to ensure project success.
• Adhere to safety policies and complete projects within schedule and budget.
