About The Position

Experience : Two (2) years of current experience in adult critical care, progressive care, medical surgical care, and general pediatrics.

License : Respiratory Care Practitioner License

Certifications :

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
• BLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
• ACLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
• PALS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
• NALS or NRP certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

Must-Have : Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.

Description :

Provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients who require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and / or ventilatory support.

Position requires varied shifts; block scheduling is not guaranteed.

On call, weekends, and holidays are required.

Assignments may vary, and floating to alternate locations within a specified distance may be necessary.

The position may fluctuate to fulfill staffing needs.

Traveling in pairs is not guaranteed to have the same schedules or shifts.

This is a contract assignment that spans 13 weeks, with the possibility of a 26-week extension based on need.

Preferred skills include experience with electronic health records; training will be provided on-site if needed.
