Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,440 per week in York, PA

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Operating Room Duration : 18 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 10 hours Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience License : Active RN license required Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : - Level I Trauma experience preferred - Proficient with the Davinci xi robot and familiar with the DV5 Davinci robot - Proficient in robotic general, gyn, thoracic, and urology specialties Description : The registered nurse will work 2 of 3 major holidays, with no time off approved between Christmas and New Year. No block scheduling is available, and it includes floating blocks. The nurse will be expected to take 4-5 call shifts within a 6-week period, with a 30-minute call back response. The nurse will also need to cover 4-5 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix. Weekends could be scheduled for day, evening, or night shifts. Holidays could also be day, evening, or night shifts as per department needs. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff for clinical fit, and if approved, will be forwarded to the manager for a final decision. The manager will conduct interviews. The traveler will be expected to work at least 1 major holiday. Floating may be required as needed. The ideal candidates must be able to scrub and circulate independently. Candidates must have experience functioning independently in robotics, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and trauma surgeries. It is essential to note that this facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Candidates may care for COVID patients. Candidates must fulfill all mandatory requirements and qualifications during their tenure. The registered nurse must demonstrate the ability to provide quality patient care and surgical support in a high-volume operating room setting.
