Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a team of highly motivated staff.
Tax Manager Responsibilities
- Perform tax returns for individuals, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, partnerships, trusts, and nonprofit organizations
- Perform technical tax review of tax returns of staff accountants
- Independently research tax issues
- Follow tax compliance laws and discuss with clients as needed
- Oversee a team of highly motivated staff / train staff
- Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients
- Review tax returns prepared by staff
Qualifications
CPA license requiredBachelor's Degree in AccountingAt least five years of experience in Public AccountingCustomer-centric with excellent relationship and adaptability skillsDetailed, well-organized, with strong communication skillsExhibits a strong team-player attitude in helping co-workers succeedResults-oriented with a high level of integrity and dependabilityStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment while making decisions based on accurate and timely analysisMust have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client serviceHigh stress tolerance thrives in a high-pressure environmentAbility to conform to shifting priorities, strong problem solving & prioritization skillsThe position requires related experience working in external relationship managementStrong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentSelf-driven individual, ability to work with minimal directionIf this sounds like the type of opportunity you see yourself transitioning into next, contact Julie Gross at 605-705-6836.
