Salary : $16-$17 / hr
Overview :
When consistency and nurturing care matter most, infant substitutes step in to provide a calm, safe, and loving environment for our littlest learners. As a substitute in the infant classroom, youll support daily routines, foster developmental milestones, and build trust with children, families, and staff even if just for the interim.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide a safe, warm, and responsive environment for infants (6 weeks to 18 months)
- Follow each childs individual schedule (feeding, napping, diapering, play)
- Engage in age-appropriate activities that support sensory and motor development
- Maintain cleanliness and follow all health & safety protocols
- Communicate with permanent staff to ensure continuity of care
- Support transitions between classroom routines with patience and gentleness
- Report any concerns or incidents to the Lead Teacher or Center Director promptly
