Launch your career in Facilities Management at JLL! We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Maintenance Technician / Painting Specialist to join our integrated facilities management team at a client site to provide general handyman tasks and labor tasks associates with event set-up and tear-down.

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

Reporting to : Facilities Manager

The Maintenance Technician supports the operation and maintenance process to specialize in drywall repair and painting in our clients building. This position will also assist other team members in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as, independently performing defined tasks, including event support.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Performs ongoing preventive and repair response work orders with primary responsibility drywall repair and painting.
• Performs assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
• Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and / or as directed.
• Moves & / or repairs office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested.
• Patch and paint as required.
• Complies with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
• Recognizes danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
• Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
• Submit P-card Receipts as required.
• Updates work order statuses in real time
• Utilizes CMMS systems such as Corrigo Facility for all work performed.
• Organizing and arranging furniture and other event-related items according to special events in support of JLLs client
• Removing and storing away furniture and other items used during the event.
