DESCRIPTION
UC San Diego Health is seeking a Hospital Complex Account Specialist to join our nationally recognized revenue cycle team. This is a unique opportunity to work on advanced and life-saving treatments, including Solid Organ Transplant, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and CAR T-cell therapy. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Three (3+) years of hospital billing and collections experience (acute care preferred).
Strong knowledge of insurance billing rules, UB-04, revenue codes, and coding principles (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
Experience with Epic or similar billing systems.
Ability to analyze accounts, resolve issues, and communicate effectively with payors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certification in billing / coding (CPC, CPB, HB).
Prior experience with transplant or complex case billing.
Familiarity with payer agreements and bundled payment structures.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range : $61,116 - $75,982 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent : $29.27 - $36.39
