Product Strategy and Vision : The Sr. manager of Technical Product Management is responsible for creating, defining, and communicating a clear product vision and strategy for the Developer Productivity Platform, aligning with PayPal’s overall business objectives.
Product Development and Launch : This role is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch. They collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
Customer-driven innovation : This involves deeply understanding the needs and challenges of developers, the competitive landscape, and market trends. Using this information to inform product strategy to create new products or enhance existing services.
Stakeholder Management : The Sr. Manager of Technical Product Management needs to work closely with multiple stakeholders, including customers, engineers, marketing and sales teams, and executive leadership. This involves clear communication of the product's value, addressing concerns, and incorporating feedback into the product strategy.
Team Leadership and Development : As a Sr. Manager, this role is responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing the product management team. They are accountable for setting objectives, reviewing performance, and fostering a culture of innovation and customer-centricity.
Qualifications
Leadership and subject matter expertise in Product Management; you have spent 8+ years building world-class developer products.
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field. Certifications in Product Management are a plus.
Customer-Centric Mindset with a track record of synthesizing customer insights, constructing product roadmap, demonstrated ability to empathize with the developers, and influence developers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen : Developing a product strategy that aligns with the company's objectives. Lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment using Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and versed in DORA and SPACE frameworks for developer productivity.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $152,500 to $262,350
