Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour + 4.22 per hour for health and welfare Paid vacation + Sick time

Must be able to pass a federal background check, physical and PT test

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.

Interact professionally with students, staff, and visitors, offering assistance as needed while upholding security-related standards.

Support access control measures by verifying credentials and helping to manage entry points as required.

Document incidents and observations in detailed reports to support ongoing security-related operations.

Collaborate with law enforcement and / or emergency responders as necessary during critical situations.

Minimum Requirements :

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

Possess a Level III armed certification for Texas.

Possess an armed guard card or license; this is preferred.

Possess a current CPR certification; this is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
