Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Newton, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Duties :

  • Perform a variety of CT procedures using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation under the supervision of qualified physicians and the CT Operations Manager.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images of specified body parts for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric .
  • Operate imaging equipment in accordance with federal, state, local, and hospital regulations.
  • Insert and remove intravenous (IV) lines as required for contrast administration.
  • Follow all infection control, patient safety, and departmental protocols.
  • Accurately document procedures, patient interactions, and technical data in accordance with hospital standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and quality assurance programs.

    • Qualifications :

  • Education : Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program .
  • Experience :

    • Minimum 1 year of Radiology experience – required.

  • Prior CT experience and knowledge of adult / geriatric patient care – preferred.
  • Licenses & Certifications :

    • Massachusetts State License (Radiation Control Board) – required.

  • ARRT Registered – RT(R) or RT(N) – required.
  • ARRT CT Certification – preferred.

    • (Must be obtained within 1 year of hire if not currently certified.)

  • CPR Certification – required.
