Smart Pediatric Dentistry a trusted and growing pediatric practice, is hiring a Patient Coordinator to join our front office team! If you’re organized, friendly, and passionate about providing excellent customer service in a healthcare setting, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Patient Coordinator , you will be the friendly face and guiding voice for our families from appointment scheduling through follow-up. You’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment, managing patient communication, coordinating logistics, and ensuring each family feels informed and supported.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phone
  • Answer calls, and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatment
  • Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health history.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
  • Collect patient payments and post them to their patient ledger
  • Update necessary documents into patient chart
  • Outbound calls to patients for confirming upcoming appointments
  • Additional duties as needed such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling supplies in restrooms, and any other necessary tasks in our office

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or higher in healthcare-administration or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a dental, pediatric, or customer service role preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills—warm, friendly, clear.
  • Comfortable working with children and families, and able to convey information in a calm, reassuring manner.
  • Basic knowledge of dental insurance and billing processes is a plus.
