About The Position

A high-priority locum assignment is now open for a Board-Certified Neurologist in Bryan, TX. This position offers competitive compensation with excellent on-call daily rates and premium hourly callback pay. The role involves inpatient neurology coverage with flexible scheduling options, including multiple block dates and the possibility of ongoing 7 on / 7 off coverage.

Job Responsibilities

Provide inpatient neurology coverage on a 24-hour call schedule (7am–7am).

Evaluate and treat patients (average 14–20 per day ).

Read EEGs (required for this assignment).

Manage call responsibilities, with callback hours compensated separately.

Collaborate with hospital staff and ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Requirements

Board Certified in Neurology (required).

Texas medical license required for September and October dates (IMLC accepted for later dates).

Clean malpractice history strongly preferred.

Ability to read EEGs.

Skills

Strong clinical knowledge in neurology with inpatient experience.

Proficiency in EEG reading.

Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Flexibility to handle call responsibilities and varying patient volumes.

Working Hours

On Call (Daily) : Up to $2600 per 24 hours (includes 4 gratis hours).

Call Back : $240 per hour after gratis hours are completed.

Holiday and orientation rates available per contract terms.

9 / 10 – 9 / 15

10 / 1 – 10 / 6

11 / 21 – 12 / 1

12 / 5 – 12 / 8

12 / 22 – 1 / 1
