Job Description

Pay Range $93,825 to $117,275 per year

The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide financial support to Business Unit Marketing Management and related Sales Management to drive short and long-term business decisions for the purpose of attainment of business unit and Company goals. Create value through relevant and objective insight. Responsible for financial planning and analysis of business results, development of projects, and administration of profit forecasts.

Essential job functions :

• Assist in business analyses and forecasting to identify potential opportunities in current practices. For example, P&L analysis to recommend cost savings and / or revenue generating opportunities, cost center analysis (freight, marketing, etc.) to recommend cost savings and / or process improvement opportunities, perform variance analysis to identify trends and budget deviations, Information System Analysis to recommend cost savings and / or process improvement / automation opportunities.
• Participate in developing strategic options with principal responsibility for quantifying alternative business strategies.
• Participate in business valuation modeling, analysis, and recommendations. (For example, promotion effectiveness, bird size initiative, etc.).
• Administer financial criteria for growth (capacity planning, new products, and / or businesses opportunities) and cost improvement initiatives (facilities utilization, capital projects, etc.).
• Utilize and assist in development of corporate systems - past examples include Demand Planning, Business Warehouse, and Power BI.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support informed decision-making by management - i.e., meat sourcing and trade-offs.
• Establish strong partnerships with business units and cross-functional teams to gain understanding of operational challenges and structure information resources accordingly
• Develop financial reporting required to monitor business outcomes
• Post-audit initiatives as appropriate.
• Provide financial analysis support to Executives, Information Systems, Engineering, and Purchasing.
