About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief School Business Official (CSBO) to oversee its business and financial operations, as well as the maintenance of district facilities. The CSBO will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including preparing and managing the district's budget, financial reports, and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations. The successful candidate will also supervise various departments, such as transportation, food service, operations, and maintenance, and will be involved in the administration of the district's insurance policies, risk management, and workers' compensation programs. Additionally, the CSBO will serve as the district's treasurer, manage the district's Medicaid reimbursement program, and be a key member of the district's Administrative Team and Supervisory Administration Team.

Applicants for the CSBO position at the company must have a valid Illinois General Administrative License with a CSBO endorsement, a minimum of 3-5 years' of administrative experience, and a background in business or accounting. The role requires a candidate with a strong financial acumen, the ability to prepare and present financial reports, and experience in grant management. The CSBO will also be involved in the district's strategic goal achievement, participate in budget staffing discussions, and manage the district's bond requirements.
