Cage Cashier

Reports to : Cage Supervisor

Job Summary :

Accurately processes transactions for internal and external guests while maintaining a positive demeanor and pleasant attitude throughout each transaction. Responsible for safeguarding company assets and adhering to all Casino and Cage policies and procedures.

Essential Functions :

• Ensure compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
• Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions.
• Responsible for transactions with guests, including but not limited to : check cashing, debit / credit card cash advances, exchange of foreign currency, chip redemption and exchanges, cash / issue vouchers, pay out jackpots and promotional winnings, and prepare tax forms (W-2G and 1042-S).
• Responsible for transactions within the casino : card games fills and credits, issue and receive banks, disbursement and receipt of funds in accordance with policy; receive and record tips.
• Count window funds and process transactions accurately and maintain minimal variances.
• Organize supplies, clean counters / floors and maintain working areas clean at all times.
• Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
• Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
• Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.

Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American preference is observed.
