Job description

Job Title : Emergency Medical Technician

Location : Asheville, NC 28801

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM

Pay : $38 - $41 / Hr.

Join a dynamic ground transport team providing high-quality patient care across all levels-BLS, ALS, Critical Care, and Behavioral Health. Work with top-tier equipment and a supportive crew in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Unit Overview :

  • Fleet : 14 peak operational trucks
  • Team Size : Approximately 110 staff
  • Patient Ratio : 1 patient per transport
  • Equipment : Zoll Cardiac Monitors, Baxter & Alaris IV Pumps
  • EMR System : ESO

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safe and efficient transport of patients based on level of care needed

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of satisfactory driving experience (insurance requirement)
  • Certifications :

    • BLS

  • ALS
  • PHTLS
  • PALS
  • North Carolina EMT Certification (or Paramedic)

    • Additional Information :

  • Floating Areas : May include Behavioral Health transport, BLS van, or wheelchair van as needed
  • Dress Code : Uniform provided
