Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Sebeka, Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified physician to provide coverage in a dynamic emergency department with ongoing shift availability. The facility is located in a rural area with a close-knit community and offers a rewarding work environment.

Position Highlights :

Location : Near Sebeka, MN
Shifts : 10-12 shifts per month, 12-hour shifts (days or nights)
Start Date : ASAP, ongoing with availability for both days and nights
ER Volume : Approximately 10,000 visits annually
Support Staff : Includes 2 RNs and a CNA on shift

Key Requirements :

Board Certification : Preferred, but Board Eligible will be reviewed

Licensure : Active Minnesota medical license or IMLC accepted

Certifications : ACLS, PALS, ATLS or CALS with Trauma component certification

Specialty Experience : General Surgery or IM / FM with ED experience required

Background : Clean background and malpractice history is highly preferred

Availability : Immediate coverage for urgent October dates and ongoing availability

Additional Details :

No call requirements

EMR system : Meditech

Potential to fly providers in if necessary

Facility provides comprehensive care in a rural setting, with a focus on delivering quality emergency services to the community
