About This Position The Senior Architectural Designer role is a Most Senior Level Architect / Designer / Manager who provides oversight and support for the overall development and implementation of multiple architectural projects. You are a form giver and storyteller; you are passionate about design. Project types include multifamily, mixed-use development, master planning, hotel / hospitality, office, and retail. This role will be responsible for project management as well as providing technical and design direction. This role reports to a Principal. We are seeking a candidate who possesses the following : Ability to manage 3-5 projects at different phases of design including managing client relationships and presenting design concepts in multiple forums Provide leadership to project team(s); promote and maintain a professional environment in which team members are motivated to perform at peak effectiveness Desire and ability to mentor junior staff and colleagues Team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience in ground-up design and construction; ability to design, detail, coordinate, provide basic technical reviews, and coordinate with consultants on all phases of design and construction Participate in projects from concept through construction administration Provide design vision, philosophy, and strategy for project(s) Create project design(s), solution(s), and plan(s) for all phases of a project and ensure design intent is maintained through documentation and construction Maintain creative design throughout all phases and champion design priorities Exhibit design influence across multiple projects and support junior designer development Excellent design sense, good judgment of colors / space, and detail-oriented Support a culture of excellence and contribute to a collaborative environment that rewards teamwork, mentorship, best-in-practice development, and pride in workmanship Required Qualifications Education Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates) 10+ years relevant experience Experience with and knowledge of construction drawings Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit Ability to create and present full presentations Proficient in programs including Revit, Sketch Up or 3D computer rendering, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Newforma; preference for knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint and Bluebeam REVU Comfortable with hand sketches LEED AP & specialty encouraged How To Apply Interested?
