Consulting Pharmacist

The Consulting Pharmacist at Fuze Health plays a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and patient-centered pharmaceutical services. Operating as an individual contributor, this role works cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Team Support & Oversight : Assist in the supervision of pharmacy technicians as needed to ensure efficient workflow and operational excellence.
• Service Coordination : Coordinate the provision of pharmaceutical services, including the delivery of medications and products to patients, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Documentation & Compliance : Maintain all required documentation for services rendered and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Drug Security : Safeguard legend drugs and ensure proper handling, storage, and security in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Quality Assurance : Participate in the pharmacy quality assurance program to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and patient safety.
• Patient & Provider Communication : Regularly correspond with patients and healthcare providers via telephone, offering medication consultations and ensuring exceptional service.
• Education & Guidance : Support the Pharmacy Operations Leader in educating pharmacy staff and staying current on regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
• Patient Confidentiality : Maintain strict confidentiality of patient profiles, medication information, and all sensitive health data.
