Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A speech-language pathology role is available for the contract school year (CSY) period from February 10, 2025, to April 25, 2025, located in Irvington, NY. This position offers an opportunity to work with students in grades 6 through 12, providing direct, on-site speech therapy services in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students aged 6-18
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 22 students with diverse communication needs
  • Participate in team meetings and IEP development as needed

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy within school and healthcare environments
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices and current speech therapy techniques
  • Candidate may be a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP seeking school-based experience
  • Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) experience in healthcare or school settings is valuable
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities for managing caseload and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Schedule and Location :

  • Position is on-site in Irvington, NY
  • Work schedule is 7 : 50 AM to 3 : 20 PM, five days per week
  • This contract offers a focused opportunity to provide essential speech therapy services during the school year.
