Join our team as an NP Nocturnist . In the NP Nocturnist role you will be required to :
Assume responsibility and accountability for rapid assessment, nursing diagnosis and works with MD partners to assure safe patient diagnostic testing and optimal plan of care.
Perform advanced practice procedures.
Utilize the nursing process to promote / restore optimal health and well-being of the patient.
Assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following :
1-2 years+ of inpatient (HM / ICU / ED) experience required
Ability to comfortably work nights as this is a nocturnist position
Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
Master's Degree in Nursing as Nurse Practitioner, from a nationally accredited postgraduate certificate program required. Must be a graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing.
Graduate from an Accredited School Of Nursing required
Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure for; and listed on the state Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry required. Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in applicable population foci and / or sub-specialty.
RN License required
BLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan.
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and / or up to 20lbs frequently, and / or up to 10lbs constantly)

Pay Range
$70.00 - $78.76 / hour
