Overview

Elevated Beauty Group is seeking a passionate and dynamic Business Development Executive to spearhead the growth of our esteemed beauty brands : ARETÉ, SEVEN Haircare, and Simply Organic. This pivotal role revolves around enhancing our market presence by forging strong relationships with salons, introducing them to our exceptional brands, and ensuring they receive the tools, education, and support they need to prosper.

As a successful candidate, you will seamlessly combine a professional in-person approach with the advantages of digital platforms and modern salon business transformation tools to achieve outstanding results. Your responsibilities will include leading strategic salon acquisition efforts and designing customized onboarding experiences that inspire growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the growth and new business development initiatives for our brands by establishing a vibrant network of new salon partners, expanding our market share through strategic acquisitions.
  • Leverage digital platforms, CRM systems, and salon business transformation tools to empower new partners with essential resources that enhance operations and client retention.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations, both online and in person, showcasing the unique benefits of our brands.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Education, and Marketing teams to create a personalized onboarding journey for our salon partners.
  • Proactively cultivate and nurture relationships with salons that align with our vision, identifying ideal partners who can represent our brands effectively.
  • Develop a robust network of salon owners, industry professionals, and partners, employing a trust-based, customer-centric sales approach focused on long-term collaboration.
  • Track and forecast salon growth through pipeline activity, revenue impact, and performance analytics.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, and Education to create impactful campaigns, events, and promotional tools that motivate stylists and drive revenue.
  • Act as an advocate for new salons, providing insights that help inform our innovations and sales strategies.

Key Qualifications

  • A results-oriented sales professional with 3+ years of experience in the professional beauty industry and a background in salon business development.
  • An established network within the salon industry and experience in outside sales.
  • A natural connector and negotiator who excels in a fast-paced, high outreach, prospecting, and closing environment.
  • Proven ability to build trust through consistent follow-through on commitments and deliverables.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize a high-performing sales pipeline effectively.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a knack for creatively leveraging resources to address salon challenges.
  • A genuine passion for the professional beauty industry and a commitment to uplifting the skills of hair stylists and salon owners.
  • Confident and inspiring presentation skills, capable of educating and influencing salon decision-makers.
  • A curious innovator, eager to embrace the latest technologies and trends transforming the salon industry.
  • Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales within the salon industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation abilities.
  • Expertise in prospecting and closing new business both digitally and in-person.
  • Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for travel.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite; Hubspot CRM preferred.
  • Willingness to work weekends as needed.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 40%.
  • Compensation

    Base Salary ($70,000-$75,000) + Uncapped Commission + Bonuses (20% based on performance). Compensation will be reflective of your sales achievements and experience. This position offers significant commission incentives based on successful new salon acquisitions and the potential for retention bonuses for cultivating current and new salon partnerships.
