Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An elementary school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher with a Severe and Profound license to support students with significant disabilities. This contract position for the current school year offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing educational environment.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with severe and profound disabilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, and classroom teachers to support student learning and development
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and school staff
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and emotional growth
