AWS Engineer

Note : The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. New York Technology Partners is seeking a senior-level AWS Cloud Engineer with deep hands-on experience in architecting and operationalizing enterprise cloud environments. The role involves building a new AWS cloud environment, implementing governance and compliance frameworks, and collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build a new AWS cloud environment aligned with the client's existing enterprise governance and compliance framework.
• Implement AWS Control Tower, AWS Config, and IAM guardrails (SCP, Identity, Permissions).
• Design and configure AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and network connectivity.
• Develop scalable, secure, and automated Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Implement DevOps workflows for deployment, monitoring, automation, and cloud lifecycle management.
• Support ongoing operations and cloud hygiene for the newly built AWS environment.
• Collaborate with cloud platform, governance, and security teams to ensure enterprise alignment.
• Transition into continued support beyond May 31 through a new contract with Depuy or another J&J team.
