Mortgage Customer Specialist

A company is looking for a Mortgage Customer Specialist to prepare and process mortgage loan records and ensure compliance with guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process mortgage loan records, files, and correspondence from application through approval

Ensure compliance with bank, regulatory, and investor guidelines while maintaining customer service standards

Communicate with customers, internal staff, and external parties to resolve inquiries and obtain necessary documentation

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Three or more years of experience in mortgage loan processing and closing activities

Thorough knowledge of loan processing and closing policies and procedures

Experience with Self Employment, Portfolio, and Jumbo loan types

Knowledge of credit policies and approval processes
