Requirements

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with expertise in web, mobile, and API testing to join our high-performance engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating robust test plans, developing automated test scripts, and ensuring high quality across all digital platforms. You’ll work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and UX designers in an Agile environment to drive quality from planning through production release.

Primary Responsibilities :

Test Strategy & Execution :

Develop comprehensive test plans that include functional, regression, database, mobile , and API testing .

Ensure cross-browser and device coverage, including emulators and simulators for mobile platforms.

Test Automation Development :

Design, build, and maintain front-end and API test automation frameworks using :

Playwright (TypeScript / JavaScript)

Postman

RestAssured (Java)

Detox (for mobile testing)

CI / CD Integration :

Integrate automated test suites into CI / CD pipelines using tools such as :

Jenkins

GitHub Actions

Azure DevOps

Test Management & Reporting :

Use tools such as Xray , Zephyr , or Mira for test case management, traceability, and reporting.

Collaboration :

Partner with developers, product owners, and UX teams to review user stories and acceptance criteria.

Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives to represent the QA perspective.

Bug Triage & Prevention :

Log and track bugs using Jira , working closely with teams to prioritize and resolve defects.

Advocate for testability, preventive quality measures, and improved engineering practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

5+ years in Quality Assurance roles.

3+ years in automation development for web and mobile applications.

2+ years testing consumer-facing applications in Agile environments.

Proficient in testing native mobile applications and web platforms .

Hands-on experience with :

Playwright (TypeScript / JavaScript)

API testing (Postman, RestAssured)

Mobile automation (Detox)

Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Strong working knowledge of Xray , Zephyr , or equivalent for test case management.

Skilled in writing, maintaining, and executing test cases and reporting results.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience testing third-party integrations and user payment systems .

Familiarity with simulating business logic through VPNs and geolocation testing .

Hands-on experience with BrowserStack , Sauce Labs , or other cloud-based testing platforms.

Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure .

Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6 .

Experience in security testing practices.

Soft Skills :

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive in driving test automation best practices.
