Job Summary

Responsible for leading the Financial Systems group in supporting finance & accounting processes and systems-related initiatives, including but not limited to : implementing new technology to advance finance & accounting capabilities, leading financial technology upgrade projects and related process improvements, working through technology integration and disintegration activities for financial systems, providing ongoing training and support for financial systems currently in place.

Essential Functions

Effectively manages and develops staff through use of best practices and the Company’s people management processes.

  • Manages the technology development needs of the finance & accounting functions as well as training and ongoing support post-implementation.
  • Leads transformational projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Produces KPI dashboards and reporting capabilities to help drive actionable insights and strategic decision making for business units and functional areas.
  • Drives continuous improvement mindset and develops innovative processes, procedures, and / or tools to support analysis of business performance.
  • Develops strong working relationships with key stakeholders under areas supported, Finance / Accounting, and organizational leadership.
  • Seeks and identifies financial opportunities and risks for various stakeholder areas supported.

Education Description

Requires a bachelors degree with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Experience

Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in accounting or finance.

Experience working in an environment exposing the candidate to project management, process improvement, system development, training, and / or change management is preferred.
