In this role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of your patients, clients, and colleagues! You’ll deliver reliable walk-in outpatient care and help to bridge the gap between general practice and emergency care to bring greater access to pets in need.

The Ideal Urgent Care Veterinarian :

• Excited to work with our referring veterinarians and our Emergency and Critical Care department as a team to provide exceptional service to clients, patients and referring doctors.
• Leadership opportunities and the professional possibilities associated with developing a new service within our hospital and Pathway.
• Committed to providing the best care and service to our clients and pets.
• Motivated to meet and exceed the established standards of care.
• Internship trained or 2-3 years of experience preferred.

About The Hospital

Thrive Catonsville is an urgent care practice located in Catonsville, Maryland. Our Veterinary Urgent Care Hospital is equipped to handle a wide range of critical and urgent need conditions.

The Urgent Care department has been designed to meet a key need in our community and hospital. We are a highly skilled staff and aim to provide efficient, compassionate care to patients with urgent need conditions so that they receive great care! In the Urgent Care department, we offer walk-in care for a variety of conditions.  We stay in close contact with the primary veterinarians to ensure those patients return for ongoing care with their family vet.

In this position, you will play a vital role in easing the strain on our local emergency hospitals by providing immediate care for a variety of cases. Our urgent care veterinarians see both minor emergencies and more critical cases, including :

By handling these cases, you’ll directly help alleviate the pressure on local ER hospitals, allowing them to focus on the most critical emergencies, while ensuring that our patients receive quality care in a timely manner.

We are open Monday – Sunday 10 : 00am - 10 : 00pm

Serving Catonsville, Glen Burnie, Pasadena, Columbia, Baltimore, and surrounding areas.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time base range of $155,000-$175,000 / year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
