Job Summary

Denver Health & Hospital (DHHA), in the heart of thriving downtown Denver, CO, is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist , who is Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anesthesiology to join our team. Candidate can be Board Certified / Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology as well. The successful candidate will be joining a group of 17 physicians with 24 / 7 in-house coverage. Call on average is 2-4 nights / month with back-up call averaging 2-4 nights / month. This is an academic position with teaching and supervision over a mix of residents, CRNAs, and medical students.

DHHA has been certified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level I Adult Trauma Center and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. DHHA offers comprehensive surgical, obstetric, medical and psychiatric care, as well as emergency, ambulatory and diagnostic services. With 525 licensed beds Denver Health Medical Center is one of the state's busiest hospitals with more than 26,000 admissions annually. As Colorado's premier safety net institution, DHHA offers unique clinical and academic opportunities addressing the needs of our patient population. DHHA is an affiliate hospital of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and all DH faculty will have an academic appointment through the school of medicine.
