About The Position

Job Title : Mammography Technologist

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of clinical Mammography experience required

License : Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Clienttion Therapy

Certifications : ARRT certified in Mammography, BLS

Must-Have : Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology

Description :

Mammography Technologist needed for an immediate start.

Performs breast imaging as well as ultrasound and stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures.

Assists in the technical orientation of cross-trained Radiologic Technologists.

Instructs them in complex or difficult procedures.

Maintains a second Mammography registry by accruing five continuing education credits specific to Mammography Education annually.

This is as required by federally mandated MQSA standards.

Associates degree preferred.
