Per Diem Staff Requirements

Work at least two (2) 8-hour shifts per pay period, including two (2) weekend shifts per month (16 hours total per pay period). Weekend hours are defined as Friday 10 p.m. through Monday 6 a.m.

Work at least one (1) 8-hour shift per year on a

minor holiday (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day) and one (1) on a major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years).

Maintain mandatory education requirements and a current BLS certification.

If a per diem staff member calls out on a weekend, the shift must be made up within one month.
