Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a maternity leave contract in an elementary school setting in Angola, IN. This role supports students in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade and offers a balanced caseload with opportunities for both direct and indirect service delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide SLP services 4-5 days per week, approximately 6-7 hours daily.
- Manage a caseload of around 30 students, primarily early elementary-aged.
- Conduct 3-4 evaluations monthly.
- Utilize the Indiana IEP system for documentation and progress tracking.
- Bill Medicaid through the RELAY system.
- Deliver services in-person at two locations located within one mile of each other.
- Support students without requiring AAC services.
Qualifications :
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Certification of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted.Flexibility to perform hybrid indirect work 1-2 days per week if CCC credentialed.Experience working in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.Familiarity with Indianas IEP system and Medicaid billing processes beneficial.Contract Details :
