Coleman Consulting Group, LLC are looking for engineers to work State projects in North Carolina. Relocation costs will not be reimbursed.
Job duties :
Conduct site inspections on sites with major damage (e.g., destroyed facilities; facilities with extensive damage; facilities with significant damage to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components, etc.) to document disaster-related damageConduct site inspections to validate infrastructure damage and record detailed damage descriptions during the inspection to include the following additional tasks :Review and analyze professional architectural / engineering reports and designs or as-built plansDevelop scopes of work, including related code and standard requirementsValidate applicant-provided scopes of work, including related code and standard requirements. Develop and review cost estimatesExperience :
To be successful in this role, you will have :
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in either electrical or mechanical engineering and professional registration; OR bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in a related field5 years of experience in site inspections of large commercial infrastructures1-2 years of experience in site Inspections in any of the following eligible types of work :Restoration of Roads, Bridges, Water control Facilities, Buildings, Equipment, Utilities, Debris Removal, Schools, Churches, Parks, and recreation centers
A United States CitizenshipThe ability to maintain FEMA specific trainingsMicrosoft Office SkillsThe ability to deploy to any location in zone 2 with a 2448-hour notice after Task Order AwardAdditional desired experience and skills :
Experience managing Site InspectorsPE - Professional Engineer preferred
