Must Haves :
Minimum 3 years' experience in facility or building maintenance (preferably in a multi-unit retail environment) with strong technical knowledge and understanding of industry trends.
High school education required; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to prioritize and manage a large volume of projects and details in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to travel as needed.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
This position is responsible for managing the resolution of facility-related repair and maintenance issues across company-owned or leased properties, ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for customers and team members.
Manage the repair and maintenance program for all locations within the assigned territory. (40%)
Manage landlord maintenance issues, including dispute resolution to ensure repairs are completed as required under lease agreements. (10%)
Analyze the root cause of reported facility issues, establish scope of work and specifications, engage vendors, manage the bid process, and recommend expense approvals for repair resolution. (10%)
Verify invoices for accuracy, confirm completion of contracted repairs, ensure warranty adherence, and validate accounting codes and approvals to ensure timely and accurate payment. (5%)
Collect and maintain complete documentation—emails, calls, contracts, approvals, warranties, completion results, and invoices—to ensure accurate recordkeeping of all repair activities. (15%)
Communicate and coordinate with store teams, field personnel, internal departments, and corporate stakeholders to provide support, ensure timely repair completion, and manage expense allocation. (10%)
Research and verify competitive pricing across service industries (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, asphalt, concrete, flooring, roofing, general facility components) to ensure cost efficiency and value engineering. (5%)
Develop and expand vendor networks to improve performance and reduce costs. (5%)
