Position Overview

As our Controller, you'll lead the company's accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight across a dynamic organization that blends the agility of a family-run business with the complexity of a national logistics network. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for maintaining robust internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulations, and delivering timely, accurate financial data to support executive decision-making.

You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive financial excellence, provide actionable analysis and recommendations, and continuously improve processes that support scalable growth. Key Responsibilities

• Manage core accounting operations, including AP / AR, payroll, general ledger, reconciliations, and inventory accounting
• Lead financial reporting, month-end / year-end close, and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and systems to support accuracy and efficiency
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and provide strategic financial insights to leadership
• Coordinate CPA reviews, regulatory filings, and maintain relationships with external financial partners
• Mentor and guide accounting staff to foster growth and team effectiveness
