Compensation

The pay for this position is

$29.00 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

A 401(k) with company match is available to full-time employees with 1 year of service.

High school diploma or GED required

Hands-on chemical / food / perfumery manufacturing experience required

Responsibilities

Accurately weigh and pack orders according to instructions

Operate scales to weigh materials and products

Follow company labeling procedures, including destruction of unused labels

Operate pumps, filters, scales, and computer systems to complete production tasks

Take samples of raw materials and finished products for testing, following QC requirements

Safely operate forklifts, drum-handling equipment, and Big Joe Lift

Inspect all containers prior to filling per established procedures

Store materials properly based on storage requirements (racks, freezers, cold / hot boxes)

Maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP standards

Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Minimum

2 years’ experience

in a chemical, food, or perfumery manufacturing facility

Minimum

2 years’ experience mixing and handling chemicals according to a recipe

Knowledge of

GMP

(Good Manufacturing Practices)

Knowledge of

HACCP

(Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)

Ability to pass OSHA-required respirator fit testing

Ability to operate a forklift

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand 60–90% of the shift

Frequently lift, move, pull, and push up to 50 lbs

Must wear required PPE

Ability to work in environments with minimal temperature control (hot or cold conditions)

Must safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
