Overview
As a Visual Merchandiser & Trainer with Tissot, U.S , the position will be responsible for supporting the watch sales within our retail and wholesale accounts through visual merchandising and training. This role oversees the visual representation of the Tissot brand and products in all boutiques (retail and wholesale) within the assigned Midwestern region. It will require travel throughout the Midwest territory. This is a field position with responsibilities to maintain training initiatives that increase Tissot brand and product knowledge, including planning, organizing, coordinating, training and implementing all visual merchandising measures developed by Tissot.
Base salary : Starting at $50K - $65K. Job location : King of Prussia, PA (plus travel within the US). Company address : The Swatch Group (U.S.) Inc., Miami, FL.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring store merchandise presentations meet company standards and guidelines
- Prepare communication materials for visual displays according to brand guidelines
- Train store managers on current visual standards
- Contribute to achieving sales volume goals by ensuring effective presentations and maintenance of all product categories, including during promotions
- Manage with vendors the placement of visuals and follow up on all visual orders to ensure timely implementation
- Coordinate with internal team on centralized mailing of visual materials to trade locations and ensure stores place them
- Plan and execute functional training, leadership development, product and sales training, and other training strategies with management
- Provide comprehensive communication and training programs to stores
- Identify visual opportunities within or outside the stores and develop window decoration ideas
- Identify business opportunities by reading and understanding regional business trends
- Create and maintain a photo library of retail and wholesale location conditions before and after visits
- Provide a recap report of store visits
- Lead set up and decoration of brand-sponsored events and related events to maximize visual impact per brand guidelines
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred2-3 years of retail visual merchandising experience in specialty goods, jewelry, watches (a plus)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPointMotivated self-starter; able to foster relationshipsThrives in a fast-paced, fluid environment with ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projectsAble to work weekends as needed; travel up to 80%Able to organize and execute presentationsConfident communicator and presenterStrong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with multitasking abilityUnderstand and follow work rules and procedures; team player; willing to travel by plane, car, or other modes as prescribedAdditional Skill Requirements
