Job Details :

• Must start on 1 / 5 / 2026
• Work on medical-surgical unit with no telemetry monitoring or cardiovascular drips
• Patient ratios of 5 patients during days, nights, and weekends
• One call shift per 6-week schedule required
• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including post-op, orthopedic, diabetes, pneumonia, wound care, CBI, and urology cases
• Daily census ranges from 10-13 patients in a 13-bed unit
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience preferred
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Allscripts charting system experience preferred
• Must complete required skills including accessing / managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, chest tubes, colostomy care, feeding tube management, telemetry, wound care, and various other medical-surgical competencies
• Must be at least 150 miles from facility to be considered
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Must complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Hard document deadline : Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
• Non-billable modules averaging 6-8 hours completed during orientation
