About Dell Children's

Dell Childrens Medical Center (DCMC) is a 299 -bed freestanding pediatric facility with Pediatric Level I Trauma Center, Level IV Epilepsy Center, Level IV NICU, Special Delivery Unit, Texas Center for Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease, and Inpatient Psychiatry Mental Health Unit.

Our second location, DCMC North, opened in the spring of 2022 as a 36 - bed hospital.

DCMC is in the Ascension Healthcare Network, the nation's largest nonprofit health system.

Our mission is to be a center of excellence for childrens health with a strong alliance of expert personnel, facilities and other specialty resources.
