Assignment Highlights

Location : Ozark, Missouri

Setting : Outpatient Primary Care Clinic

Contract Type : Locum Tenens

Schedule : December 3 : (8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm) & December 5 (8 : 00am - 12 : 00pm)

Patient Population : All ages or adult-only based on provider preference

Environment : Newly updated clinic with full nursing and administrative support

EMR : Epic

Clinical Scope & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care for acute and chronic conditions

Conduct physicals, wellness exams, and preventative health services

Manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, thyroid disease

Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses

Order, perform, and review diagnostic tests

Prescribe medications and oversee medication management

Collaborate with clinic support staff to ensure continuity of care

Deliver patient-centered guidance on lifestyle and health maintenance

Maintain accurate and compliant documentation within the EMR

Candidate Requirements

Licensure : Active and unrestricted Missouri NP license & DEA

Certifications : BLS

Board Certification : FNP or AGNP

Experience : Minimum 1 year of primary care, urgent care, or family medicine

Attributes : Independent, reliable, patient-focused, and adaptable
