Position Overview : A well-established financial institution is seeking a Senior Vice President of Loan Documentation and Collateral Review to oversee all aspects of loan documentation and collateral risk management. This key leadership role requires deep expertise in preparing and reviewing loan documents, title work, insurance certificates, and tax verifications. The SVP will also oversee the documentation process related to collections (a smaller, but important responsibility) and manage a team of two experienced loan documentation professionals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the preparation and thorough review of all loan documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
• Review title policies, insurance documentation, and tax records to validate and safeguard collateral positions.
• Oversee and improve documentation processes for collection activities.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of two professionals responsible for loan documentation and collateral review.
• Collaborate with lending, credit, and compliance teams to ensure smooth documentation workflows and regulatory adherence.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on loan documentation and collateral management best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes impacting loan and collateral documentation.
