Director of Emergency Services – Full-Time, Days – Las Vegas, NV Area

Salary Range : $123,448 – $175,000 / year

Incentive Bonus : Up to 17.5% of base salary

Sign-On Bonus : Case by Case

Relocation Assistance : Case by Case

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead the operations of a large Emergency Department in the Las Vegas area. This is a high-impact leadership role for an RN with strong ED management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive clinical outcomes while fostering staff development and engagement.

Job Description

Position Highlights :

Full-time schedule : Days only, No weekends

Oversee a high-volume ED with 29 beds and 3 freestanding EDs

ED patient volume includes main ED (160+ patients / day) and freestanding locations (25–110 patients / day)

Team : 96 FTEs plus PRNs, totaling 120+ staff

Direct report to the ACNO

No trauma designation; high-performing team with strong nursing culture

Key Responsibilities :

Lead departmental strategy, planning, and quality improvement initiatives

Manage daily operations across main and freestanding EDs

Coach, mentor, and retain high-performing staff

Ensure regulatory and policy compliance

Facilitate staffing, budgeting, and patient experience goals

Lead performance improvement programs and develop protocols to drive safety and quality

Participate in executive leadership and hospital-wide committees

Serve as the face of ED leadership—visible, engaged, and accountable

Qualifications

BSN required

Current RN license in Nevada or compact state required

ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC required

3+ years of emergency services experience

3+ years in a leadership role strongly preferred

Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Admin, or Business preferred
