Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer

A local Tax Firm and trusted client of AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing has partnered with us in their search for a Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer. Must have prior tax preparation experience and excellent customer service skills.

Location : Modesto, CA

Pay Rate : $22-$30 / hr

Requirements of the Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Individual tax return preparation experience.
  • Ability to work proficiently in QuickBooks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer :

  • Process accounts payable
  • Process accounts receivable
  • Prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Post and reconcile the General Ledger.
  • Prepare individual tax returns.
  • Heavy Data Entry
