Burn Treatment Center And Intermediate Care Unit (8 JCP) :
This is a 17-bed unit equipped with a state-of-the-art hydrotherapy room for burn / wound dressing care, a pediatric playroom and rehabilitation gym. The unit cares for both adult and pediatric burn patients as well as an adult trauma population requiring intermediate monitoring care. The unit has both inpatient and outpatient (Burn Clinic) facilities. Our staff also provide burn outreach and education and annually host a Burn Camp for burn patient survivors. The American College of Surgeons designated our unit as a Level I Burn Center since 1996.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
