Microprocessor Technician

Responsibilities :

Maintain electrical, electronic, and computer systems throughout the plant.

• Maintain documentation on various systems throughout the plant.
• Assist operators and process engineers in solving quality problems.
• Participate in one safety sub-committee.
• Assist contractors in the installation of new equipment or upgrading of existing equipment.
• Maintain spare electronic equipment and parts.
• Assist control equipment technicians and or other associates with troubleshooting electrical problems.
• Help train other shop associates as needed.
• Participate in on or off-site training as required.

Schedule : Available for call-ins (emergency) , Weekend rotations as scheduled , Available to work overtime or other shifts if needed

Knowledge / Skills :

Understanding and troubleshooting of electrical (AC and DC) and control systems

Power distribution

Programs / Systems :

Preferred - 2 year Mechatronics or equivalent degree

Pay Rate : $27.54 - $31.58 depending on experience.
