CMA / Licensed Practical Nurse - Internal Medicine (68540)

JOB SUMMARY

Hamilton Medical Center (HMC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hamilton Healthcare System, Inc. (HHCS). HMC Internal Medicine Residency Program was created as part of a grant program through the state of Georgia to meet the long-term community need for physicians within the Dalton, Georgia and surrounding communities. The Internal Medicine Residency Program is a training clinic for residents within the system. Many residents stay in the same location that they trained for independent practice.

To perform nursing services and set standards to assure professional, skilled program of care and treatment is administered in a physician office setting. Responsible for accommodating the needs of the physician by controlling patient flow, preparing patients for exams and aiding physician with routine procedures.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing

Licensure : Current LPN License in the State of Georgia, Current CPR Certification

Experience : 1 -2 years in a physician office practice or hospital preferred.

Job Skills : Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.
