TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, and uphold regulatory standards. This position is structured for travel assignments, making it perfect for technologists who excel in diverse clinical settings and enjoy exploring new locations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Operate gamma cameras, PET, and SPECT imaging systems to obtain high-quality images.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, following strict radiation-safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate radiation-exposure records and comply with all regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to evaluate imaging results and optimize patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform routine quality-control checks on imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
  • Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required (additional state licensure if applicable).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging preferred.
  • Proficiency in PET, SPECT, and gamma-camera imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
  • Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
