SUMMARY :

A Security Officer is a full time officer in the Security Department that is daily assigned a post and duties by the Team Leader. Security Officers are assigned the task of insuring the safety and security of the property, including staff / employees, service delivery site employees, patients, visitors, venders, etc. Security Officers report to the Team Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain strong situational awareness and observation skills.
• Document activities at and around your assigned post with clear and concise written notes
• Gather and organize facts and other essential information
• Fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in the investigation and prosecution of criminal activity occurring on your property.
• Focus your senses so as to provide the most effective security service possible.
• Serve your company, your clients, law enforcement, and the public using the highest standards of personal and professional conduct.
• Must carry out the orders and instructions given to them by the Team Leader.
• Keep the Team Leader informed if activities and unusual or significant events.
• Establish and maintain good rapport with peers and other AnMed Personnel.

Responsible for insuring the safety and security of medical center employees, patients, visitors and property.
