Job Title : Machine Operator

Job Description

A manufacturer in the Eastern Indianapolis region is seeking dedicated machine operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves operating industrial machines and ensuring product quality through the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate various industrial machines, handling up to four simultaneously.
• Utilize basic hand and power tools to change tooling as required.
• Employ quality instruments to ensure parts meet specified quality standards.
• Perform repetitive manual lifting and push materials throughout the department.
• Ensure proper documentation of materials, batch numbers, etc., following guidelines.
• Maintain stamina to withstand heat and remain on feet for 8 to 12 hours.

Work Environment

The facility spans 1 million square feet, providing a spacious and organized setting. Training occurs on 1st shift for approximately 15 weeks, transitioning to 2nd or 3rd shifts with a shift premium. The work environment can be hot depending on the department, but it remains clean and efficient. Employees may be required to work overtime, with advance notice for Saturday shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $49920.00 / yr.
